I set up Healthy Body Healthy Mind as I returned to the industry I truly enjoy and am fiercely passionate about.
I’m not new to the industry as from the age of 20 I was a level 2 Fitness Instructor, Boxercise, Circuit and Spinning Instructor and I started my working life working in Health Clubs in London. I worked in various clubs working my way up to manage a club in Covent Garden. After numerous years of the London rat race I decided to work locally as an instructor at North Weald Health & Fitness Club and then went on to open up the Manor of Groves Health Club in Sawbridgeworth as one of the Duty Managers.
Regrettably I then decided to have a change and worked in office based jobs and in the summer of 2013 I decided enough was enough. I was so unhappy and I just wasn’t meant to be stuck in an office all day so I decided to follow my dreams and studied hard to regain my qualifications.
I truly believe anyone can change their lifestyle whether you want to lose weight, build on your strength and endurance or enter an event you never thought you could do-as long as you are in the right mind to do so I can help, motivate and get you results but I also understand the psychological aspect behind exercising and nutrition as I have 1st hand experience in dealing with it.
My one-to-one personal training sessions are fun yet challenging and I am just a “normal PT” training “normal everyday people” and I love my job. I am also a sports massage therapist where I can deal with any aches and pains that everyday life and training can cause.
